The House Series was the first series of work I did while living in Chicago and is basically me (the self) being remodeled to fit into a new city and my new role as a father. This series is an abstract dairy of sorts, of that period. There is quite a bit of reference to the vertical structure and floor plans being moved and or shifted. along with weather, maps and as always trees. (Family Trees?)
While I had been playing with acetates in Portland this became the first full series of work with Acetate, Mylar & ink-washes on plastic.
